’47 Feature: Julius Thomas
As NFL free agency rumors swirl, one of the most intriguing prospects this offseason is Broncos tight-end, Julius Thomas. The former two-sport athlete has all the makings of a superstar tight-end, and numerous teams are vying to add him to their rosters.
The Denver Broncos had one of the most dominant offenses over the last few years thanks to weapons like Thomas. His size and athleticism made him a difficult matchup for any opposing defender. Thomas caught 43 passes for 489 yards and 12 touchdowns during the 2014 season. In 2013, he caught 65 passes for 788 yards and 12 touchdowns, which helped propel the Broncos to an AFC Championship.
With an insatiable hunger to be the best, he is without a doubt one of the most, if not the most, talented tight-ends about to hit the market. Needless to say, the 26 year-old is a very exciting possibility for a number of teams and any team would benefit from having a playmaker like Thomas anchor their offense.
So where will he end up? Thomas wants nothing more than to play for a Super Bowl contender. Watch our exclusive feature as he reflects on this post-season while navigating the waters of an uncertain future.
