Nitro World Games 2017
With extraordinary events like the Nitro World Games, Nitro Circus aims to rejuvenate and progress the action sports realm like never before. Athletes from around the world qualify to compete each year, including many new and usual suspects from action sports collective, Nitro Circus.
So what exactly happens at the Nitro World Games? Not much. Just daredevils participating in the most progressive action sports competition on the planet, with their flying sport vessels of choice: motocross, BMX, skateboard, scooter or inline skates. These super humans will be scored on their best tricks, pushing limits like never before.
As the official rider’s gear of Nitro Circus, ’47 is thrilled to follow the journeys of athletes as they make their way to Salt Lake City on June 24th for the big show. With a spotlight on dual competitor Ryan Williams (more commonly known as R.Willy) –– scooter and BMX extraordinaire –– we’ll watch a dream progress from thought to trampoline to record breaking tricks.
Because Nitro Circus athletes live a life that may seem far-fetched to most of us: what better way to make it feel real, than by giving it a shot? This year at Rice-Eccles Arena, Nitro Circus and ’47 will host an interactive experience that lets fans envision themselves in that dream of flying, too.
Fans can also shop and suit up in ’47’s official rider’s gear on site where they’ll soon be watching the magic live. Along with content of R.Willy’s journey leading up to the games, anyone will surely be able to feel and look like they’re a part of the action.
To find us, head to the West end of the Nitro World Games Fan Zone concourse on Saturday, June 24 from 3:00 - 9:30 PM. Can’t make it to the games? You can shop the gear here and follow the excitement on Snapchat: @fortyseven.
Encouraging authentic self-expression through sport and style is in ’47’s DNA, and the Nitro World Games embody exactly what it is to #letyouryouout.
