’47 Pedicabs Hit the Streets of Boston

Liquid error (sections/article line 23): invalid url input

When the Yankees come to Beantown to play the Red Sox, fans inevitably pour in from across the country to defend their side in one of the fiercest rivalries in the history of the sport. With the surplus of baseball devotees in the area, we thought we’d contribute to their Boston experience, so we partnered with Pedicab Outdoor to make our very own ’47 pedicabs during the three-day series.

From August 9-11, customers at our ’47 Flagship Store on Newbury Street were given complimentary rides to and from the historic Fenway Park area — where our history started.

Passengers were able to sit back, relax and enjoy unobstructed views of Boston while being peddled around before a big game. A few were even lucky enough to snag some free ’47 gear: we randomly selected fans to shop our store and get outfitted in sportswear featuring their favorite teams, before heading over to the game via personal pedicab ride.

If you were in the area during the Sox vs. Yankees series, we may have snapped you on your way to Fenway. Check out the image gallery below and keep an eye out in Boston – you might see another ’47 pedicab peddling around.

Our drivers were decked out in Red Sox ’47 FORWARD High Point Tees from our active line (2016 Men’s Health Award winner). Each was also topped off with a ’47 CLEAN UP –– our signature relaxed and curved cap. Want the look? Head to 47brand.com and shop our collection of active headwear and apparel featuring anti-microbial, moisture-wicking and other properties perfect for working out around Boston on a beautiful summer’s day.
