’47 Fenway Is Here
The year was 1947. The green monster was being painted its namesake color. The Red Sox were playing their 47th year as a franchise. Electrified by the fandom and prideful city they now called home, twelve-year-old twin D’Angelo brothers jumped in on the action, selling sports memorabilia out of a street cart.
With decades of relentless passion and hard work, what originated as pennants and such has evolved into a global sports lifestyle brand in 2017, ran by the second generation of D’Angelos: Arthur’s four sons.
You might say this is overdue, but ’47 is planting more roots where the roots were first planted –– officially opening up shop at the corner of Yawkey and Arthur’s Way (rightfully so) right near the Team Store. Because home is where the Red Sox are, after all.
